12/5/18: Well, I need to apologise... for those who have been waiting for updates, I've finally had some time to sit here and get some work done on this site. I think I'm about eight video's behind for the XC restoration and haven't even begun loading Honda motorcycle footage yet. Whatever the case, video updates can be viewed on my YouTube page. So here's my first update in about six months...
We reacquaint ourselves with the XC Fairmont and tackle a few jobs on the shifter.
In this chapter there are a few odds and ends, but we mainly take a look at the rust patches we make for the doors.
The beginning of this video is introduced at Part 34 which is incorrect, it's 35. Lots of parts to prepare; lights, hinges etc.
In this chapter we start on the headlining and fit some doors... not the correct order to do this job, but I need to make some room!
We grab the fuel tank and prepare it for paint, plus there's more on the headlining and we throw some sets in for good measure... they need to come out again though, as we're merely storing them.
In this chapter, we give our fuel tank a lovely shiny new paint job, fit the sender unit and drop the whole thing into the car.
We lucked out with the bonnet (hood) but it has been painted with gal spray paint underneath - which has meant removing by hand. Anyway, we eventually paint the bonnet and fit it to the car.
